International Banking Seminar The Group of Thirty hosts an annual International Banking Seminar. The Seminar is an invitation-only, off-the-record forum that allows for frank discussion and debate of the thorniest issues confronting the central banking community. The event is scheduled to coincide with the fall meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank and has become an important adjunct to the Bank and Fund meetings. Each year the Seminar brings together over fifty percent of the world's central bank governors, the Chairman and CEOs of the financial sector, and a select few academics to debate financial and systemic issues of global import. The Group of Thirty thanks the Monetary Authority of Singapore for kindly hosting the 2006 IBS. If you would like more information, please contact is on IBSinfo@group30.org. |
